  • What does eClips stand for? We always referred to the content as short clips… because they are cut out of the longer interview/lecture.
    How do you decide on who to interview? As you may have noticed many of the interviews and lectures have very interesting stories… from young entrepreneurs selling their companies for millions to veteran Venture Capitalists that have seen hundreds of Business plans over the years. In the beginning they were Cornell University Alumni. The collection has grown to include the guest speakers of symposia and others from around the world.
    Are you willing to interview my guest speaker? We will entertain any request to tape a guest speaker. We do have budget constraints so we often work with you to have your guest taped and we will process the content for inclusion into the collection. You (your department or school) can have their own collection within eClips. Contact Professor Streeter for more information. dhs4@cornell.edu
    Will eClips ever cost anything? We have made an education commitment to keep “educator” logins free. We validate that the login is indeed a professor. All other logins may become pay in the future. We do not have a date set and therefore cannot address it much further… Until then. Adhere to the “terms of use” and enjoy.
    Can all my students log in? Currently, all students are welcome to login. We actually hope that you will have all your students enjoying the content.
    Can anyone come to eClips? As an educator eclips is currently free. We encourage faculty to have their students register as well. Non educators who want to use eclips should contact the eclips team to validate their use of the content.
    How come student logins can’t download? The download functionalility is viewed as a tool for instructors to be able to present eclips in the classroom.
    Can I get clips to play on my IPOD? We hope that functionality will be inplemented soon.
    Can I get the whole lecture “uncut”? Send a request to the eclips team if you need a lecture that is uncut. On a case by case basis we will determine if the
